About the role

Build the commercial engine of the company.

As Head of Sales & Partnerships, you will lead Harmony's go-to-market motion and help define how we grow from early traction into a category-defining company. This is a founding leadership role responsible for building pipeline, closing strategic customers, developing channel and ecosystem partnerships, and building the sales team over time.

This is not a desk-sales role. You will spend real time in factories, on the road, at industry events, with customers, and with strategic partners. You need to understand how manufacturers actually operate, build trust quickly, and connect Harmony's product to the operational and financial pain points leaders care about. A big part of this role is helping customers see the future of their plant clearly, and helping partners understand why Harmony should be part of that future.

Success in this role means building a repeatable sales motion, closing high-value accounts, creating meaningful partnerships, and shaping the commercial foundation of the company.

What you'll do

Own GTM. Build partnerships. Build the team.

Own the GTM motion.

  • Own Harmony's sales and partnerships strategy from the ground up.
  • Build pipeline, run deals, and close strategic customers across manufacturing.
  • Develop a clear, repeatable sales process that fits how Harmony actually sells and deploys.
  • Help define pricing, packaging, deal structure, and expansion strategy alongside the founders.

Sell in the real world.

  • Spend time on-site with manufacturers to understand operations, pain points, and where Harmony can create value.
  • Run customer conversations across discovery, plant visits, pilots, proposals, negotiation, and close.
  • Build trust with operators, plant leaders, executives, and owners by understanding what matters to each of them.
  • Represent Harmony in a way that feels sharp, grounded, and deeply credible.

Build partnerships.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with ecosystem players across manufacturing, industrial tech, software, hardware, banking, media, and industry networks.
  • Identify channels and relationships that can accelerate customer acquisition and category awareness.
  • Build partner relationships that create real leverage, not just logos on a slide.
  • Help position Harmony as the operating layer that others want to build around.

Build the team.

  • Help hire, shape, and lead the future sales and partnerships team.
  • Create standards for how Harmony sells, follows up, communicates, and closes.
  • Build the early commercial culture of the company with high ownership and high standards.
  • Partner closely with founders, product, and deployments so GTM stays grounded in what the product actually does.
What we're looking for

Founder-mode instincts, earned trust.

  • Strong ability to sell complex, high-trust products in real-world environments.
  • Excellent judgment in founder-led sales, strategic partnerships, and early-stage GTM building.
  • Comfort selling to operators, plant leaders, executives, and owners.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and communicate clearly with conviction.
  • Excitement about being on the road, in factories, and close to the customer.
Preferred qualifications

What gets our attention.

  • Experience selling into manufacturing, industrials, operations, or other complex B2B environments.
  • Experience with strategic partnerships, channel development, or ecosystem building.
  • Strong founder-mode instincts with the ability to go from first meeting to signed deal.
  • Experience building or leading an early sales team.
  • Bonus: strong operational and product intuition, with the ability to connect real customer pain to platform capabilities in a sharp, credible way.
