Builder mindset.
You default to making. You do not wait for permission, spec documents, or perfect conditions. You build, ship, learn, and build again.
We are looking for builders who want to work on real operational problems alongside the plants that run them, and ship software that actually holds up on the floor.
You do not need a pedigree. You need to be able to think clearly, move fast, and ship work that holds up.
We are looking for people who want responsibility, who can work across product, engineering, and operations, and who are excited by real industrial systems, robotics, AI, infrastructure, and the operational complexity of a real plant. If a clean dashboard is the most interesting problem in your life, this is not the place.
You default to making. You do not wait for permission, spec documents, or perfect conditions. You build, ship, learn, and build again.
You take ownership of outcomes, not just tickets. You figure out what matters, decide, and act. Ambiguity does not stop you.
You know the difference between the elegant answer and the right answer. You prefer shipping something real over shipping something perfect.
You respect the operator on the floor. You take manufacturing seriously. You also know how to have fun and have a laugh. The mission is heavy; the team shouldn't be.
You work hard. You learn fast. You're willing to do whatever the moment needs, without complaining about what's in your job description. And you have fun while doing it.
Ten open positions. A small, focused team. We are moving fast and taking roles seriously. If one of these fits, reach out. We respond to every serious applicant.
Embed on-site with customers to scope workflows, prototype fast, and ship production-grade software on their infrastructure, Python, TypeScript, React, Postgres, Docker/K8s, Terraform. In parallel, build the reusable tooling (SDKs, templates, adapters, CLIs) that makes the next deployment faster than the last.
Design and build the data layer that connects ERPs, MES, QMS, PLCs, sensors, paperwork, and the tribal knowledge of senior operators. Harmony's backbone. This is infrastructure work with real operational stakes.
Shape the product language, operator interfaces, and editorial voice of Harmony. Design for factory floors, not for analytics dashboards. You will own the visual system, the UI patterns, and the tone that a shift uses every day.
Push the boundaries of what AI can do on a factory floor. Build agents that reason, cite, and act on real operational data. Focus on automations that hold up under production load, not demos.
Drive the top of Harmony's funnel. Cold call, cold email, outbound prospecting, follow-up, and event support. Not behind a dashboard, on the phone, at the event, in the plant.
Lead Harmony's go-to-market motion. Build pipeline, close strategic customers, develop ecosystem partnerships, and build the sales team. Founder-led, in-person, on the road with customers and partners.
Lead Harmony's robotics work. Bridge software, hardware, and the physical floor to make automation practical, safe, and grounded. Build the team from scratch. Own the roadmap. You will spend real time across multiple customer sites, not one.
Several of these roles are deployed. That means you live in or relocate to a factory location, work on-site with the team operating the plant, and ship software inside the environment it runs in. The exact location is TBD and depends on the customer we deploy with. This is how we work. It is how Harmony gets better every release.
In-person only. Full-time, with frequent travel to customer sites.
Free housing if deployed.
Gym, sauna, and cold plunge access, plus a personal trainer two times a week. HQ is in Chattanooga, TN.
High-equity compensation.
Work directly with the founders every day with full ownership.
High-trust, high-intensity environment built on craft, speed, and impact.
Often, weekly team dinners with the community.
We care more about what you can do than where you came from.
Our process is short, honest, and built around real work. We look at what you have shipped, how you think through hard problems, and whether you can operate inside the messiness of a real plant. We are open to non-traditional candidates when they are exceptional, and new grads are welcome for the right roles.
A founder-level call. What you have built, what you want to build, and why this work is interesting to you. Real talk, no HR script.
A working session with an engineer or the founder, depending on the role. We dig into how you think, how you build, and how you handle real problems under real constraints.
We send you a scoped problem that looks like something you would actually hit in the first 90 days. You have 72 hours from when we send it to ship it back. Honest scope, ship what you would ship on the job.
You come to Chattanooga. We cover the flight, the accommodation, all of it. We take you to a factory, have you meet one of our clients, and show you how the product actually works in real time. You spend the day with the team, working through the kind of problems you would own. If an in-person visit is not possible, we do a long-form virtual session instead.
We give you the answer by the end of the day you visit. If we say yes, we give you the offer letter that same day and start onboarding. If we say no, we tell you why and respect your time.
Harmony is the operating layer for American manufacturing. We build it alongside the plants that run it, not from a distance.
Every feature we ship is used on a real floor by real operators, supervisors, and plant managers. Software that does not hold up in that environment does not make it to production. This keeps the work honest, the feedback loop tight, and the stakes obvious.
American manufacturing is the backbone of the country. The people running it deserve software that actually helps. That is the work.
We embed with customers. We watch software get used in the middle of a shift. Every deployment sharpens the next one. You see your work in the real world, not in a staging environment.
Everyone owns outcomes, not just tasks. If you see a better way, you have the room to build it.
We build tools we are proud of. Clean models, cited AI, sharp interfaces, real-time data, and software that respects the people using it. No sloppy work makes it out the door.
