About the role
Top of the funnel. On the phone, on the road.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will help drive the top of Harmony's funnel. You will be responsible for cold calling, cold emailing, outbound prospecting, follow-up, event support, and creating pipeline with the right manufacturing accounts.
This is not a role for someone who wants to hide behind sequences and dashboards. You will spend a lot of time reaching out directly, getting hung up on, pushing through, learning the market, and figuring out how to break into plants that matter. You will also travel heavily, support events, meet prospects in person, and help turn interest into real conversations.
Success in this role means creating real pipeline, opening doors with the right manufacturers, and becoming someone who deeply understands how Harmony wins trust in the market.

What you'll do
Drive pipeline. Prospect in the real world.
Drive top-of-funnel pipeline.
- Cold call manufacturers, operators, plant leaders, and executives every week.
- Send thoughtful outbound emails, follow-ups, and multi-touch sequences to generate meetings.
- Build and manage top-of-funnel pipeline across target accounts.
- Research accounts and contacts to improve messaging and targeting.
Prospect in the real world.
- Travel to events, trade shows, dinners, customer sites, and industry gatherings to generate opportunities.
- Support Harmony's in-person GTM motion by meeting prospects face to face and helping create momentum in the field.
- Follow up quickly after events and conversations to turn interest into meetings.
- Help represent Harmony with energy, sharpness, and credibility.
Learn the market fast.
- Understand Harmony's ICP, buyer personas, pain points, and positioning well enough to open strong conversations.
- Learn how manufacturers think, what problems they care about, and how to connect Harmony to those needs.
- Test messaging, angles, and outreach strategies to improve conversion over time.
- Work closely with founders and sales leadership to sharpen outbound and improve what works.
Help build the engine.
- Keep CRM and pipeline hygiene clean and tight.
- Surface patterns from outbound, objections, and conversations back to the team.
- Help improve playbooks for calling, emailing, events, and prospecting.
- Contribute to building a strong early outbound culture at Harmony.

Preferred qualifications
What gets our attention.
- Experience in sales development, outbound prospecting, recruiting, fundraising, or other high-rejection environments.
- Comfortable with cold calling, cold emailing, and top-of-funnel pipeline generation.
- Strong presence in person and on the phone.
- Experience working events, trade shows, or field-based GTM motions is a plus.
- Bonus: interest in manufacturing, industrials, or operational software.
