Two savings streams: the form-filling time you eliminate, and the transcription and error rework that disappears when data is captured once, digitally. Every figure is your input, not a guarantee.
What to keep in mind
- These are your inputs, not a guarantee. Time studies vary; count your actual forms for a week before you take this number to a budget meeting.
- Digitizing rarely eliminates 100% of form time. Operators still record data, just faster and once. The slider caps at 90% on purpose.
- The rework line assumes it goes to zero. Most transcription and re-keying does disappear when data is captured digitally at the source, but keep a haircut in mind if some rework is not paperwork-driven.
- Not counted here: faster audits, fewer compliance findings, better traceability, and decisions made on same-day data instead of last week's binder. Those are real but not in this number.
