AI Automation for Meat & Poultry.
Harmony digitizes paper cutting tests and HACCP checks, tracks yield by primal live, schedules lines around sanitation windows, and keeps traceability recall-ready. One AI-native operating system over everything: your floor, your machines, and the software you already run. No rip-and-replace.
First a digital transformation. Then an AI transformation.
Three phases of a digital and AI transformation.
Lay the Data Foundation · Digitization
Every pen-and-paper record digitized at the station, every software system connected, and all of the data unified into one live layer. The digital transformation starts here.
Production & Operations Scale
Factory operations turn proactive: live sensors and machine data, the AI scheduling board, predictive maintenance before failure.
AI-Native Operations
Agents across the floor and the back office act on the live layer: quality signals, reports, copilots. Humans approve.
Twelve ways the AI layer earns its keep.
The systems and machines we meet on your floor.
You might run any of these. Or none of them. Harmony is software and hardware agnostic, and we connect live machine data from any PLC brand and any software or custom app.
Every agent proposes. A person approves. That line never moves.
Agents that watch, flag, and act. Humans decide.
The problems we see on every meat & poultry floor, and why they happen.
Disconnected systems, disconnected data
The ERP holds the orders, SafetyChain holds the HACCP records, the historian holds the machine data, and the cutting floor writes on paper.
Yield is recorded after the shift
Cutting tests and yield sheets are filled in by hand at the block and keyed into Excel after the shift.
Cooler temps are logged by hand on rounds
Cooler and freezer temperatures are checked a few times a shift and written on a clipboard.
Trace records live in binders, so recalls take hours
One-up/one-back means pulling receiving logs, grind sheets, cook records, and pack records from different systems and binders.
The back office runs on manual work
POs are typed in from emails, invoices keyed into the ERP, deductions and AR worked from spreadsheets, and reports built by hand before the morning meeting.
ON-SITE, IN PERSON · SOFTWARE + HARDWARE AGNOSTIC · READ-ONLY PILOTS · US-HOSTED OR ON-PREM · HUMANS APPROVE EVERY ACTION
$15–20K. 4–6 weeks. One painful problem.
We pick one specific pain point, send engineers to live in your factory for 4–6 weeks, and solve it. One-time payment, working software by week 3, and no obligation to go further. If you do, you choose the modules that you like.
Will digital records hold up with our USDA inspector?
The HACCP program stays your HACCP program. Checks are captured at the point of work, time-stamped, with the same forms your inspector already knows, printable on demand. Nothing in the food safety program changes without your QA team approving it. Read-only pilots: every agent proposes, a person approves.
Can you get live data off our grinders, cook/chill, and freezers?
Yes. Direct PLC and sensor connections, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or any other brand, via OPC UA or whatever the machine speaks, plus scales, checkweighers, and temperature probes, streamed into the AI layer in real time. Software and hardware agnostic.
We sell on catch weights. Can the AI layer handle that?
Yes. Catch weights are captured at the scale and reconciled automatically through the ERP to the invoice. Mismatches surface as flags for a person to resolve, and deductions tied to weight disputes get worked by agents with the evidence attached.
Do you replace our ERP or SafetyChain?
Additive by default. The AI layer sits on top of what you already run, and when a system deserves to be replaced, we replace it. Sometimes we're the layer on top of your MES. Sometimes we are the MES.
How does the AI get our data?
Read-only connections, scheduled exports, or on-prem. Security is reviewed together in scoping. Baseline first, then measure. Estimates are labeled as estimates.
What does it cost after the pilot?
A per-plant annual platform: unlimited seats, no user fees, hardware at cost. The pilot itself is $15-20K over 4-6 weeks against one painful problem, with working software by week 3.
Do you work remotely?
No. We always start a pilot in person and on-site, with forward-deployed engineers on your floor. Very rarely do we do anything remotely.
Harmony AI puts yield, HACCP, and cold-chain data on one live layer, so drift gets caught in the hour instead of at month-end.
