AI Automation for Automotive Accessories.

Harmony connects your quality, yield, production, and productivity tools with live machine data, then runs AI automations on top without ripping out what works. One AI-native operating system over your whole plant. No rip-and-replace.

AI USE CASES

Twelve ways one connected layer earns its keep.

CAPTUREDUNIFIEDACTED ONONE LIVE LAYER, HUMANS DECIDE
U1

AI Workflow Automation

Use case 01 · CONNECT EXISTING SYSTEMS

Problem. Quality, yield, production-performance, and productivity applications each hold part of the story. Analysts export data and join it by hand before the plant can compare one line, part, or shift.

Harmony AI Solution. Harmony connects those tools through read-only APIs, database views, scheduled files, or on-premise interfaces.

U2

Live Machine Data

Use case 02 · LIVE MACHINE DATA

Problem. Weld parameters live on a robot controller, coating settings on the line HMI, torque values inside the tool, and test results on a standalone PC. Comparing them means manual extraction.

Harmony AI Solution. Direct PLC and controller connections stream the critical parameters and events into the same timeline as parts, orders, lots, operators, and inspections—regardless of machine brand or age.

In-Line Quality Intelligence

Use case 03 · IN-LINE QUALITY

Problem. A coating, weld, torque, or fitment issue reaches final inspection. The likely cause is several stations and hours upstream, so the team contains product before it can correct the process.

Harmony AI Solution. Quality results arrive live with part, option, station, shift, and process history.

U4

RFID + Serial Genealogy

Use case 04 · TRACEABILITY

Problem. A suspect fastener, coating batch, component, or process window triggers hours of searching across travelers, spreadsheets, and separate applications.

Harmony AI Solution. Part, lot, order, and process genealogy connects material receipt through fabrication, finishing, assembly, inspection, and shipment.

U5

AI Search Across All Data

Use case 05 · AI SEARCH

Problem. Questions like which line lost yield, what changed before a defect spike, or which orders use a suspect component require exports from several systems and a day of analysis.

Harmony AI Solution. Ask in plain language across internal applications, MES, ERP, machine history, quality records, and warranty data. Harmony returns the answer with the underlying sources shown.

U6

AI Production Scheduling

Use case 06 · AI SCHEDULING

Problem. Planners juggle vehicle fitments, colors, tooling, labor, component availability, changeovers, and urgent orders in spreadsheets that are stale as soon as conditions change.

Harmony AI Solution. AI models the plant's actual constraints and proposes a material-ready sequence. Planners see the tradeoffs, make adjustments, and approve the schedule before it releases.

Inventory + Shortage Intelligence

Use case 07 · INVENTORY & SHORTAGES

Problem. The system says a kit is complete, but a bracket, fastener, motor, seal, or packaging component is missing when the order reaches assembly.

Harmony AI Solution. Harmony reconciles system inventory with scans, consumption, and actual line movement.

Yield Optimization

Use case 08 · YIELD OPTIMIZATION

Problem. Steel, aluminum, resin, fabric, coating, and purchased-component losses are summarized after the period closes, with scrap and rework grouped too broadly to show the cause.

Harmony AI Solution. Actual usage, scrap, rework, and first-pass yield appear by part, line, machine, shift, and reason. Drift is visible soon enough to protect the current run.

Predictive Maintenance

Use case 09 · PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE

Problem. A weld cell, forming machine, coating line, mold, or assembly fixture fails unexpectedly, while preventive work competes with a schedule that does not see equipment risk.

Harmony AI Solution. Live condition signals, alarms, cycle history, and maintenance records create a machine memory.

U10

Oee + Productivity

Use case 10 · OEE & PRODUCTIVITY

Problem. OEE, output, downtime, yield, and labor productivity differ by dashboard because the systems use different time boundaries, loss codes, and assumptions.

Harmony AI Solution. Harmony aligns the definitions with plant leadership, preserves the source data, and publishes a governed live view. Every number can be traced back to the event that produced it.

Supplier Quality

Use case 11 · SUPPLIER QUALITY

Problem. Incoming defects, line disruptions, rework, and claims are logged in different places, so supplier reviews focus on counts rather than total operational cost.

Harmony AI Solution. Receiving lots connect to downstream defects, downtime, rework, and warranty signals.

Back-Office AI Automations

Use case 12 · FINANCE · SALES · PROCUREMENT · LOGISTICS

Problem. Warranty claims, returns, deductions, order documents, and morning reports consume office time and rarely reconnect cleanly to the product's build history.

Harmony AI Solution. AI agents classify claims, assemble supporting records, draft reports, and connect recurring field issues to lots and process conditions.

Scope. Financials, sales, procurement, and logistics automations, in the same platform.

THE PATTERN WE SEE

The problems we see on every automotive accessories floor, and why they happen.

Good internal tools still operate as islands

Quality, yield, production performance, and productivity applications may each do their job well, but use different part names, timestamps, and definitions.

A defect is found after the cause has moved on

Final inspection catches a coating flaw, torque miss, or fitment issue, but the source sits upstream in a weld cell, mold, fixture, material lot, or process setting.

The KPI is familiar; the number is disputed

OEE, yield, first-pass quality, and output are reported in multiple systems and spreadsheets.

SKU and fitment complexity overwhelms the schedule

Vehicle fitments, finishes, kits, options, and packaging requirements multiply the number of constraints.

Warranty feedback stops at the back office

Returns and warranty claims contain valuable signals, but product, lot, process, and inspection history live somewhere else.

THE PILOT

$15–20K. 4–6 weeks. One painful problem.

We pick one specific pain point, send engineers to live in your factory for 4–6 weeks, and solve it. One-time payment, working software by week 3, and no obligation to go further. If you do, you choose the modules that you like.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
How does Harmony work with our existing manufacturing systems?

Harmony is additive by default. We begin by mapping what each tool does well, connecting it read-only, and unifying the data and workflows around it. An existing application changes only when your team and ours jointly determine that it is redundant, cannot support the required workflow, or costs more to maintain than the value it provides. The goal is a connected operation, not replacement for its own sake.

Can Harmony connect custom internal applications as well as MES and ERP?

Yes. Harmony is software and hardware agnostic. We can connect through APIs, database views, scheduled exports, file exchange, OPC UA, or an on-premise interface. During scoping, we document the owner, source of truth, permissions, and write-back rules for every connection.

Does the pilot need write access to our production systems?

No. A pilot can start read-only. Harmony can ingest approved data, create a unified view, and have every agent propose actions for a person to approve. Write-back is added only after the workflow, permissions, safeguards, and owners are agreed.

Can you connect older machines and mixed equipment brands?

Yes. We work from the interface each asset actually has: modern APIs and OPC UA where available, PLC and controller protocols, sensors or gateways for older equipment, and operator capture where a direct connection is not practical.

How do you decide where to start?

We choose one painful, measurable workflow with the plant team—for example reconciling quality and production data, exposing live yield, tracing a repeat defect, or improving schedule readiness. Forward-deployed engineers work on-site and deliver working software during the pilot.

How is access to our plant data controlled?

Security and deployment are reviewed together during scoping. Connections use the minimum permissions required, data access follows defined roles, and source records remain traceable. Human approval stays in place for consequential actions.

Keep the systems your teams trust. Connect the floor around them. Start with one measurable problem.
